Retail Store

Interiors.etc retail takes pride of place in what was up until 2003, the Old Karaka Methodist/Presbertarian Church.

The church was originally built towards the end of the 19th Century and located in Pokeno. In 1917 the church was moved to its present location on State Highway 22 at 458 Karaka Road. In the 1950s a community ‘working-bee’ built the hall at the rear of the church.

In December 2007, Rachael Buxton and her husband purchased the property. The renovation of the church, hall and landscaping took 9 months. Rachael Buxton currently operates her retail store and interior design business (interiors.etc limited), her fashion accessory wholesale business (I’m Gorgeous Limited) and her online business (www.born2shop.co.nz) all from the one location within the church and hall.
